It had been a while since I took a trip to a decent off road park so me and the family loaded up in the Land Cruiser and headed to make the last day of the Southern Cruiser Crawl at Superlift ORV Park in Hot Springs Arkansas. It easily beats the half a dozen parks I've been to here in Texas. After a large get together like this I only saw 1 piece of trash in the entire park while we were there. Very well maintained trails and facilities and we'll definitely be going again.

During the drive to the park on Sunday I saw countless Land Cruisers and FJ Cruisers heading out. We missed the majority of the event but it was still fun chatting with the few people who were still there on Sunday. The parking lot had several high end tow rigs and the owners packing things up to head home. I've never seen tow rigs like these before, must be nice!

There were mostly 40 series and 80 series Land Cruisers still around, with about half a dozen 4Runners and pickups as well.

The park is very nice and the views from the top of the mountain are great.

It's hard to believe some people can make it up that!

The Land Cruiser did great. I was afraid the lack of lockers would hold us back but it made it through some trails that I thought for sure would give us problems.

On one of the trips back to the front we noticed they had a RTI ramp so I gave it a shot. Not much to write home about but it works well on the trails. Certainly much better than my 4Runner ever did. It looked like it could have gone a bit further I think had the rear sway bar been disconnected, though.

There were people here on mud from all over the southern states. A few flew out from California and in the 2nd pic from the top in the lower left corner is a pic where I was camped and my 1967 FJ45 Great Event Fantastic people

I guess everyone was too busy having fun to take picture then! We had no idea the event was happening when we decided to try out Superlift. I wish I would have and then we could have changed plans around to make all 3 days. I'll definitely be attending next year since we had such a great time.

Thanks! I'll whore my pictures in that thread. My search for Southern Cruiser Crawl never turned up that thread.
