No more wobbles and new 33 12.5 AT

Just instaled new 33 12.50 15 BFG AT/KO on the Cruiser. The wobbles and shakes are gone. I still have a bit of steering play though. Also recieved TRE from CCOT tonight. I will install them in the AM and then get the beast aligned. Meanwhile im covering the TRE bare metal with several coats of paint to help out with the rust issue. Although rust is not realy a big problem here.

I heart my new tires.

did you have to use wheels other than factory? Are you having going up hill problems or did you change gears too? I just bought a 62 and looking at my options.

Wheels are aftermarket 15x8 (came with the truck when I bought it). Its pretty flat here. No I did not regear. The only inclines her are overpasses on the highway and I have not noticed any diffrence.

I think that the 62's are geared stock with 4.11's and will accomidate 33's with out any problems...
Any thing bigger than 33's will require re gearing.

I still have play in my steering as well and planned on ordering some TRE from Kurt at cruiseroutfitters. but my alignment guy told me they were well withing spec. And said my play was in my steering box. (I have like 4-6" of play in the wheel.

Any idea on a steering box? He said dont even try to rebuild it.
