So I finally tracked down the "chirp" I've been hearing in my front suspension - after changing all the bushing and tightening every bolt ... it ended up being the shocks! So I bought a set of OME N73/N74E nitrochargers - which will let me upgrade my springs later w/o having to buy longer shocks. Took it out for a test drive after I got them mounted - here's a link to the pics down in chit-chat. Overall they are a nice improvement ... much better than OEM w/ 150k on them :D

How did you narrow it down to the shock(s). Just by bouncing up and down on the rig, or some other more techinical means.

Actually, that didn't make it squeak until recently - after I added the ARB it got much worse ... then you could jump on the bumper and cause it. The reason I didn't suspect the shocks sooner was exactly that ... amazing what a little extra weight will change -

After a while the squeak might return. If it does just tighten the shock bolts. I most likely did not tighten them enough when I first installed them, and the little bit the bushings deform was enough to have a sqeak start after about 1000 miles.
