? is where do you manage to get dirty around here. Last time Eric and I went local, think it was the first time too, we ended up chatting to so local LEOs. We were perfectly within the law but unfortunately since then the area has been developed.

Me likey the 4Runner. I've been thinking of doing something similar to mine. Just need to find the time and the assistance to do it right. Oh, and talk myself into making the big cut.
The big cut is the easy part. It's all the sheet metal work after you cut that will test your patience.
Generally, you cut off the bacK at the C pillar (just behind the rear door) then trim out the D pillar to fit the back side of the C pillar. Then it is just a matter of coming up with a bulhead from the floor up to the rear window.
