Finally got around to doing this. After trying to order the Ford grommet twice and having the order canceled, I just used the factory cover. Just wanted to throw out some pictures of the process. It’s not a fun process threading cables through the hatch, but with a little patience, it gets done.

If you encounter trouble getting the rubber back over the white plastic piece it was suggested to remove the white piece ( 2 side clips) install rubber then push the entire assembly back into place.

Yes, thank you. That's a requirement. Push in the outside tabs to remove it.
 
That would make it a lot easier. I found that putting some plastic safe lube on there made for a quick pull.
