My clutch fork has no resistance when the slave cylinder spring is detached. I was checking the resistance manually because I keep blowing out slave cylinders and now I can’t get any pedal. I have replaced the clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, the rubber hose and made sure the steel line is clear. I bled the master cylinder and slave cylinder, checked pedal height and adjusted the clutch master cylinder.
The clutch did work when I first bought it last year and I drove it around the block it and felt like it had plenty of pedal left- then the new slave cylinder failed.
Is it normal to have basically no resistance at the clutch fork?
What is the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
