i'm planning on taking a trip (hopefully in the early fall late summer) down to Texas where i'm from to pick up my Dad and Mom, their 4rnr and head out to Moab. i've always wanted to go do some wheeling there and i figure theres nothing but distance stopping me. i plan to take 'the fast route' down to Tx (81-40-30-35 to San Antonio) i've made this trip a few times before and plan that it will take me 2 and a half days -ish. once i get there we'll probably take 10-25-70 to Utah. i plan on perhaps 3-4days there in Moab and round about the area. i've never been to Moab or to Utah in general. from whoat i understand theres some beautiful places there and i dont know how long i shouyld expect to plan to romp around the area. on my return trip i'm going to hook up with the lincoln hwy and mosey home. again, i've nevr been through this part of the country either, but i'm planning about another week for this leg of the journey. any reccomendations on places to go things to see, etc. would be appreciated. this will be pretty much my first long solo adventure and i'm really looking to find a place to fall in love with.
