I found these on LCOOL.

The LC is equipped with KDSS and the Patrol is equipped with Hydraulic Body Motion Control.

Patrol IFS/IRS

Was there ever any doubt? :grinpimp:

Both are a pain in the butt when you are trying to armor the car with 1500kg of ballistic steel and glass. I have to admit on roads the Nissan is a smoother ride, but who buys a 4x4 for a "smooth" ride??

I drive a YJ jeep = thats solid front axles and leaf springs in the front and back! I aint even got shocks in the front anymore. (1 broke at the shack and feel out and i honestly didn't notice the difference)

Overall, after looking into many different patrols (Y62 ) and cruisers ( 200 ), which do you think is better built?
Has demand for the 200 dropped in the armoring business after the introduction of the Y62, or has it had no significant affect?

I'm also surprised you drive a Jeep, i would have thought you would be more of a 70 series guy.

The contact patches look no different between the four wheels of each car. The LC looks like it flexes better in the rear due to the increased distance between the top of the tire and the fender - but did it in actuality?

Apart from all the technical mumbo-jumbo - baseline is that Y62 is a very capable 4x4 - I just did a 900km off road trip with my friend's new 2012 Y62 - and it sailed as smooth as any other LC200 in our group. I love the clearance it has and YES the comfort is more than the average LC200. my friend is running 33'' BFG on his all stock Y62.
