I have a problem with damaged areas of nickel plating on my shocks. I wash the underside of my truck religously and then spray the shocks with oil to protect the nickel finish (per mfg. instructions). The finish will corode if left unprotected, damaged areas of the finish rust even faster on the salted roads here.
Does anybody have any experience with this? I am just going to try and use CA adhesive (superglue) first. There has to be something manufactured specifically for this type of repair, something that I haven't seen yet.
