Just see the pics.

I spent about 2 hours to sort out the wiring. I was needing a navigation radio for my trip last week. All functions work so far but some minor bug such as gps antenna reception, "pop" from double amp from radio to factory nakamichi amp, etc. But for total of 30 hours of non stop usage, bluetooth music and map, it works perfect.

As for the curve trim, I still need to adjust the factory brackets to fit the radio better.

Pics for you to explore the ideas. Not perfect yet, but 80% good.

I works for one of the biggest oem navigation integration company and have a lot of access to different oem radio.

Enjoy!

I do not have any account for pics. Anyone can help?

i think you can post pics after 10 posts, and this appears to be your tenth post. I hope i am remembering correctly......

I'm assuming double-DIN oem radio without climate controls??

I would be very interested in this...mine is getting pretty slow.

Yes, what about the climate controls?

Nice job, that looks great!!

As for the double amp pop, if the new unit has a built in amp which it sounds like it does just bypass the nak amp by running the speaker outs to where the old amp resides under the front passenger seat and connect them to the old wires that went from the amp to the respective speakers taking the amp out of the mix. Alternative option would be to put a line out converter on the speaker outs on the new deck to turn it into a signal instead of a full blown output right there in the dash and then run that into the wires that go to the nak amp also right there in the dash. This is the easier option however after trying both ways on our LX, bypassing the old nak amp sounded much better in my case.

Interesting, just realized you're in Houston also. I'd like to come check it out and potentially pick one off of you if you have another!

wow a write up would be awesome.

Does this have entune? If so were you able to get it and the apps to work? Looking forward to a write up on how you wired this. Would be interested in purchasing a unit if you get more.
