Found this on Expedition Portal and also on eBay. Nice design to hold a Baofeng UV5R radio and includes a 1/4-20 nut welded to the back to accommodate a RAM mount ball.

eBay listing: Universal Metal Holster Mounting Bracket w/ NUT For Baofeng UV5R Handheld Radio

Very nice. However, looks like the mount cost more than the radio! Just seems wrong to me somehow.

Tell me where I can buy buy a radio for less than $11 and I'll pick up a spare.

Picky bastards :flipoff2:

I have 2 of these mounts and they are great. It's nice to have my radio not fly around the cab on the trail.

By the way, please use the second link (Expedition Portal) to order these, the ebay link is for a copy-cat not the originals.

I got mine in 2 days from Arizona to Oregon and am very pleased with them.

I didn't have an Exped login and just found on eBay that day. Do buy original though. I will next time.

I have that mount, and the radio that fits into it. The mount is bomber. The radio is cheap, and works. No complaints.

@BMThiker, FYI, the RAM Mount 1/4-20 post is longer than the nut is deep so it needs a washer to make the mount completely solid. A lock washer is all I am using although the lock washer will gouge the aluminum RAM post if you need to remove it, best to use a plain washer for test fitting.
