NICE 80 Series spotted @ Wendy's in Durham

It was dark, so I didn't get a real good look, but there was a cleanly modified 80 series (maybe a 40th Anniv. Model?) in the Wendy's Drive-thru at Martin Luther King Pkwy on Friday evening.

Lifted, modified bumper w/ winch., dude driving it, but didn't get much of a look except I could tell it looked quite nice. NC tags.

Probably so... i believe Sage would be the right color. It did look extremely nice. I'm fighting my desire to purchase an 80, and seeing rigs like his out in the world isn't helping!

Yes, he and his dad were there. They cleaned up on the raffle IIRC.

I've seen it on my way between work and home. I work on University and live off of Fayetteville/Barbee. If you ever see a red 40 driving by on Hope Valley Rd., it's probably me.

We are all right on top of each other. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for cruisers. I'm ashamed to say you will often see my 80 in the drive-thru at Wendy's after a long day at the hospital. I should know better but I just can't help myself. Ummm french fries. Maybe we can catch a beer sometime.
