looks like a nice rig but i'm a little leary. the seller has 0 feedback and the other ig he's selling was built by "xxx traction" not the seller. there's a well documented build-up thread on pirate about the ford he's selling.....

here's the ford:

and here's the 45, which looks an awful lot like a 45lwb that ron diaz at custom cruisers in gilroy CA bilt for a local guy. they were trying to sell it for $45k a few months ago. i guess they finally sold it if that's the same rig:

I was about to bid but than it said on the ad "Additional Information: I have owned this truck for 10 years. Just restored body little over two years ago."
Hmmm only thing in my mind is that he had the restoration done, didn't want to pay that price for it and they tried to sell it out from under him becuse they can do that

it was purchased from a cruiser guy in the bay area 10 years ago. the buyer lived in san jose and turned out to be somewhat of a flake/shady character. i don't think the current seller is the same guy but who knows.

btw, the ford has been breaking axles everytime it gets wheeled, so i hope the next owner plans on spending some serious $s on some bigger axles. the 60 front just can't handle that much weight,torque and the tire size......
