New to your site (great info). Just got my first LC 2001,Black and grey,66000,nice ride but having problems right out of the gate.I have had truck for almost 8 months.Started pulling right, dead right ,not just at speed.Dead stop at light step on gas GO RIGHT.Went to toyota they said my passenger side was half inch higher than driver side.Paid for adjustment, alingment and still pulled right.Toyota says bad tire, switched front tires now truck pulles left.I put tire in rear, not as bad, but still pulls. This is not the real problem, since toyota had truck (not saying their fault)I have a weird clunking, rattling, sounds like something wants to fall off. Sound from under truck.sounds like front end to me,but passengers say sounds like back to them.I need help, not real happy with local dealer.

Welcome!

welcome,

in the two 100 series that i have had experience with one 00' and one 03'. both leaned to the drivers side .5 inch

i lifted the 03' so i took before and after measurements and it was .5 inches lower on the drivers side. on the 00' i levelled the front end and also took before and after measurements. both cruisers leaned before and after the modifications. but neither cruiser ever had the pulling problem.

I would take it back to the dealer and tell them they left something loose and rattling. It was not there before they worked on it. Let them find what it is. Ask for their best trouble shooting tech and talk with him about it. Personal contacts come in handy in the future - they like it when customers request their service - shows they are doing a good job for the dealership.

I would also switch the bad tire and spare to remove the bad tire from the equation.

Thanks for responses

Why do you think the drivers side would be half inch higher or lower on both trucks. I'm not sure the dealer has a good tech?

I think they did your alignment out of sequences. So what I think happened is your T bars were out of adjustment (per say) they did the alignment and now you have the same problem. It’s do to the abnormal tire wear, they put the new tire on but the alignment was done with bad tires.
The shot answer, you need an alignment with good tires.
Hope this helps.
