Hey everyone..
I am a newbie to all of this. Wanted to say hi.. and get some advise. Just a fair warning .... i am going to ask a lot questions. Currently i am the owner of an 04 Subaru WRX STi. I love the car to death. But its time for me to get something bigger:frown: . With hopes of a growing family,& i need the towing capacity to tow a trailer. I have always loved the Land Cruisers. I am currently looking at an 2000 Land Cruiser, with 123k miles on. ( is that too many miles)? How long will this truck run me? What are some problems i should look at before i purchase and used land cruiser? I am hoping that if an when i buy the next truck i hope to keep it ....for a long time. 250k +miles. I put a lot of miles on all my cars. A couple of members of my family own the Toyota sequoia. Can someone give me some details in both of the trucks. I know i can use the search button.... But i am so new to toyota trucks i don't know what its called, if its a FJ80, or FJ45, FZJ80 etc etc.
Thanks guys for your help

welcome
sounds like your looknig at a 100 series and it should serve you well for what your lookng for

check out the 100 series tech section

123K miles is just getting broken-in up for that thing, provided it's been well cared for.

I don't know enough about the 100s to tell you anything specific,so do check out the 100 tech section -- I'm sure they'll be more than able to help you find the correct leather-care accessories. :flipoff2:

As to gneral datan, if you want something to last 250K miles, you're looking in the right place. Cruisers are famous for it.

Welcome, BTW.

04 Subaru WRX STi.

These arent as fast as an STi but sure as heck can carry a bunch more stuff and go more places!

My friend has a 06 WRX. Anyways back to topic.

Make sure it has documented history. At 123k miles it should have had the water pump and timing belt replaced, along with a few other things. Make sure you get a list of anything that has been fixed or replaced, as a truck without anything done with that kind of milage, your going to rack up a bill right off the bat....so you would have to negotiate the price accordingly.

Fast indeed. No longer stock I am pushing 320 Whp & about 350 WTQ... Quater miles in mid 12's. But my wife can't drive it & I need the towing & trunk space. So its time for me to sacrifice.
