Newbie 60 ? Side view mirrors

Can you guys tell did all FJ60s have the same style side view mirrors. The truck in question is a 1982 FJ60 with what appears to be aftermarket mirros. The are same style as early 90s Ford Trucks they mount on the top and have that bar that mounts down the door a ways.

See if you can find some used OEM FJ62 side mirrors. They have much better visibility than the OEM 60 mirrors....assuming you are in the market to replace the ones you've got...

Better refer to Pimp for the lowdown on mirrors. My buddys '87 FJ60 had the large black mirrors that were mounted on a swing away. I thought they were aftermarket until I looked at them. The mirror bodies and the brackets were both embossed with Toyota. The insides of the doors had welded in bosses for the lower part of the mirror brackets.

Maybe they came off of a Toyota PU or something, but someone went to a lot of effort to make them look factory.

I wish I had them on my 60.
