Just wondering what everyone's truck evolution plans were for 2014. I generally have the dream plan and then the reality plan. Won't even tell you the dream plan but reality is in order

1993 4 runner- road worthy. Front /rear bumper(trail gear), rebuild front knuckles, regear the same it has 4.30 and 4.56
1985 truck - pick away , last on the list so probably closer to 2015 accumulate parts
1984 truck- de-part for the 1985
2001 tacoma- enjoy, tent rack( afternoon home brew )

-finish sliders
-skids
-get drivability issue sorted, possibly new bushings underneath, alignment etc
-build rear storage drawers/sleeping platform
-install rear arb
-buy and install front arb
-install and wire dual battery setup
-build roof rack
-build setup to haul bikes
-get wheels blasted and powdered

Hopefully lots of trips this summer!!!

Build and install front bumper and winch.
Practice welding with my new MIG welder and eventually repair rear quarters and other areas where body looks like swiss cheese.

- find elusive squeak on 80 drivetrain, re-pack wheel bearings, fix alignment, clean up real purdy and possibly sell...need a truck.
- find clean Tacoma and start bolting crap on it...cause I can't help it...

All for the 42

-install new rear wheel bearings and left seal while I'm there
-new rear brake shoes
-new brake master
-rebuild new-to-me 5spd and splitcase using 4:1 AA gears
-swap original drive train for the 3BT I had built three years ago & above boxes
-buy and install front ARB and compressor
-Fix front right wheel I bent in Fort Mac
-Fix front right main leaf I bent in Fort Mac
-Fix right rocker I bent in Fort Mac
-Fix left rocker I can't remember where I bent
-Fab some simple sliders

I've always wanted one of those M101A military trailers so I'm gonna make one from scratch but in aluminum.

Hoping all above work can be done before Moab.:meh:

Continue to work on the Pig at a snail's pace, drag the 62 to Moab on a trailer to continue its destruction, start assembling other 62 from its remains on returning to Canuckistan.

I like that plan doc...

I have just now figured out who this is. How do you like those Led lights from Ft Mac? Thanks for the roof rack they are perfect.

Actually I won about everything except the lights. I got one of your chainsaws and an oil filter tool kit and a 12V ARB compressor among other things. I felt guilty sitting beside Peter who won nothing with way more tickets but I got over it!

Nice , I would get over it too. Run that saw fat 25:1 for a couple tanks. I think that's in the manual but I can tell you you get you 1000 motor hours that way. Stihl speck. For reference poulin expects 14 hrs before failure.

- install AOE bumper
- fix caster
- mount 37's on TR beadlocks, install on trucks
- finish the driveline bushing swaps
- new adjustable shocks
- new rear bumper
- custom storage bins
- remove cladding, fill holes, rockline exterior of the Lexus

Awl Tech - Let me know if you need a trailer template - I've got both m101 CDN and M100 models at my disposal. Mi trailer es su trailer. (Back to avoiding you)

You've got them in your yard I assume?

Two CDN M101s in the yard. The M100 is located somewhere between you and I (along w a third M101). I could always deliver next time I'm in Calgary or could send pics w measurements.

I have a particular method or systematic way of measuring things with an eye towards how to reproduce it with the equipment available to me. So I think I'd like to look one over in person. I have no idea if anybody here in town has one. Marc maybe? I have a few weeks before I will be ready to start that project. I'll have to ask around here but let me know if yer headed to Cowtown.

What kind of hitch does your trailer have. I kind of bent and buggered up the hitch on military trailer. Really need to get it sorted out this spring! It's the surge actuator assembly that's mangled. For the bigger trailer.

Figured you would have a way of measuring it. I don't know of anyone in Calgary with one anymore.
