Hey folks,

A guy in my office is thinking of taking the dive into an FJC at a local dealer here.

It is a 2007 with 4K on it. Original owner bought it and decided he wanted a Prius, according to the dealer.

Anyway...

They want $27,500 for it. Offered to put leather in it for $600 more.

I guess it is of medium loadedness.

What say all of you about the price and what should he look out for.

uhh i bought my new one for 28,700 minus only the FJammer sound system and the center gauge cluster. so... thats kinda steep-ish methinks

I paid about 32k for the TRD package. Has just about everything in it, and a few TRD accessories as well.

He should get a complete list of options installed, and then "build it" -- Can he find the same optioned vehicle on a lot? My gut is that is too high, and may even exceed MSRP new... With only 4K, you know they are going to try to get close to what it cost new. Some dealers jack the price up even more
