Found a good deal on 2022 TRD rims and tires off a tundra, but don't want to pull the trigger without knowing if they will fit the Prado platform. I saw on a 4 runner forum that the tundra has different hub size.

Talking out of my rear end, because I don't know the specs of the new Tundra wheel, but our GX's are hub-centric wheels, meaning the hub opening of the wheel over the flange on the axle hub is what centers the wheel on the axle (rotationally), and not the lug nuts. If the the new Tundra hub bore is the same or larger than the GX, and you're using conical lug nuts (as compared to ones that grip on the flat, vertical face of the wheel), and the wheel has conical openings at the base (which they almost always do, in my experience), it "might" work ok. If the hub bore of the new tundra wheel is smaller than that of the GX, the wheel won't even fit on the hub without boring out the wheel hub opening. Best to look up specs for both wheels and compare the hub diameters.Found a good deal on 2022 TRD rims and tires off a tundra, but don't want to pull the trigger without knowing if they will fit the Prado platform. They are in town and that was my original thoughts. But I knew someone here would have hub diameter and lug size rolling around in their heads. Is the seller local enough to go and pull a wheel in their driveway and try one on?
4runner, Prado, FJ cruiser, GX460/470 are all built on the same platform and are interchangable. The taco and landcruisers should be the same lug pattern, hub size, and lug nut size. Tundra won't fit without adapter, even the new 6 lug tundra rimsOn this note, does anyone know if you need different lug nuts or adapters for the 17 in TRD 4runner wheels? I know they are a common upgrade for our trucks.

Nope, those are for the steel wheels. Aluminum need the ones with the flat ring to match the face of the hole in the rim. Also, they should be conical (acorn) shaped lug nuts.
