Dunno, I live a few miles from China Hat and have not heard anything about it.
Yeah, what source are you getting your info from? There's at least a couple of off road clubs in the area. I belong to Central Oregon Cruisers, the local TLCA affiliated club and have heard no such news. I've a 3 hr drive to Bend from my home and not a regular at the meetings, but have seen nothing on the club's website either regarding this.
