No longer necessary. They were there, supposedly, to aid assembly on the factory line ...
 
For 30 years they were necessary now not so much. Mike
 
Probably the OEM Manufacturer finally eliminated a process step to save a few Yen.
 
Seems like if it aided the factory workers it would aid us ! Mike
 
I think I’ll try EBC on the other cruiser, The new calipers from Toyota also have rust on them, not impressive even in a Lexus box. Mike
 
Anyone tried the Akebono brake pads?
 
Opinion on the two bolt holes . As the back of the hub wears slightly these tighten the hub to each new rotor and keep the slack out . Mike
