Its moving around the driveway and everything seems to work good but I don't have a good cross member in yet because I am waiting on one from Adam at 4xinovations. That one should be in tomorrow and hopefully I will be able to knock it out the rest of the week and have it in road worth condition. After that its just making new plates to go around the new shift knobs. Working in the driveway + Rain = not as quick as me or the :princess: would like this job done.

So far it has been really straight forward though and really only taken 3 Saturdays and a couple of hours after work maybe 5-7 days. All of this has been done by myself too which slowed it down some(or sped it up depending on your help), but shows just how easily the swap can be done.

I drive the cruiser to work today and wow! The feel of the 4spd is perfect. At 50mph with the auto I was pulling 1600 rpm now in 4th gear I pull 2200 rpm it feels really comfy at 50mph with the 33s on. I figure 37s will feel good about 70. Still have to build the cover for the me shifters, bury everything else is pretty much done. I am writing up a full article on it with pictures just to show what a no brainer this swap is.
