I'm Tare's friend Braden. Used to have a marroon 99 Grand Cherokee (worthless pile of dung). Now I have a Blue 06 Rubicon Unlimited. You might remember me from the cleanup out at Calico, and a Big Bear trip last year. I thought since I do wheel with you guys on occasion I might as well join the forum. I'll be joining you guys in Big Bear in 2 weeks, and was playin around with the idea of going out to Sandstone Canyon with ya'll, as long as you don't mind having a Jeep in your midst.

We always welcome all comers. You will definitley like the Rubicon over the WJ for wheeling. After Calico you should be ok with dragging it over the rocks a little.

I remember - you were the reason we turned around on Dishpan Springs right? Stock truck just wasn't going to get thru even the first obstacle and you already had one little scrap/gash in a rocker panel right?

Ya, I remember you. We went around the other way while everyone else went up Holcomb. We never linked back up with them and ended up going up Butler Peak and stoppping for lunch in Fawnskin. I still have a photo of you and your son taken at the top of the fire lookout on Butler Peak. Wait, here it is....

I'm not sure about this weekend. I need to re-read the post to see when I would need to show up and on what day.

Just waiting for the the parts to ship. Same lift as Alex. They are supposed to ship this week. It's possible that I might be able to have it done before Big Bear, but not likely.
