I'm Tare's friend Braden. Used to have a marroon 99 Grand Cherokee (worthless pile of dung). Now I have a Blue 06 Rubicon Unlimited. You might remember me from the cleanup out at Calico, and a Big Bear trip last year. I thought since I do wheel with you guys on occasion I might as well join the forum. I'll be joining you guys in Big Bear in 2 weeks, and was playin around with the idea of going out to Sandstone Canyon with ya'll, as long as you don't mind having a Jeep in your midst.

Welcome Braden :flipoff2:

We always welcome all comers. You will definitley like the Rubicon over the WJ for wheeling. After Calico you should be ok with dragging it over the rocks a little. :D

Welcome! :flipoff2:

Most of us had Jeeps in the past - I had a YJ and XJ. Never got a chance to wheel them tho.

Speak for yourself! :flipoff2:

Yeah right - you never married one (owned) one but you like getting underneath one and had your hands :censor: dirty! :D

Sorry Braden - Hijack over.

I remember - you were the reason we turned around on Dishpan Springs right? :flipoff2: :flipoff2: Stock truck just wasn't going to get thru even the first obstacle and you already had one little scrap/gash in a rocker panel right?

Welcome! :flipoff2:

Ya, I remember you. We went around the other way while everyone else went up Holcomb. We never linked back up with them and ended up going up Butler Peak and stoppping for lunch in Fawnskin. I still have a photo of you and your son taken at the top of the fire lookout on Butler Peak. Wait, here it is....

I'm not sure about this weekend. I need to re-read the post to see when I would need to show up and on what day.

Welcome! :flipoff2:

Yep, that would be me. The guy that spoiled the whole thing for everyone else.

God, I hated that. Sorry.

I've got a much better rig this time round.

That's a great picture. Never ever been to that look out tower dang it.

The trail is not very difficult. Not chalenging at all, but the view.....WOW

Welcome:flipoff2:. Braden good to see you checked in and became our first official Jeep member to SoCal 80s. Who wants to start with the first Jeep joke? I got one…. I kid, I kid, seriously very happy to see you on here. Hell you already know most of the members and your rig is quite capable even stock. Can’t wait to see you on the trails when it’s lifted with bigger tires.

Mo that is funny as heck - that long vacation from posting on MUD has invigorated you! Good one bro!

Braden - the next time I see your Rubi it might look like Alexs yellow Evolution Jeep.

Just waiting for the the parts to ship. Same lift as Alex. They are supposed to ship this week. It's possible that I might be able to have it done before Big Bear, but not likely.
