Well I can't believe is happened so quick. I've had my share of 40's, 80's, and 100's and just barely started looking for a Gx470. I was convinced I wanted a 4Runner but had to have a v8 and third row which is hard to find in a Runner, and around here the GX's are almost cheaper, go figure.

Anyways, after keeping a light eye out for them for a couple months I almost pulled the trigger on a high mileage '03. I really wanted to hold out for an '05 with BT and KDSS but it seemed like a unicorn hunt from what I've read.

I was about to buy a ticket to go grab it and an '05 Sport popped up in my town that morning with only 150k on it, new tires, and recent timing belt change for a VERY reasonable price. The only catch is the KDSS CEL is on, but it sits level and drives perfect. For the price I'm getting it for I'm going to roll the dice and self diagnose later.

Second owner rig with not much of an established maintenance history, but clean carfax and it drives like new with a 10/10 interior so it worth a gamble.

I pick it up this afternoon! Not my ideal color, but its growing on me!

Thanks! I did that before buying it, sadly the original owner did virtually nothing at the dealership so its pretty light on info. The overall shape implies it was cared for, so fingers crossed!
