Now, what exactly do I want to do with it....

1997 M101 with the bows and canvas top.

That's probably one of the cleanest one of those I've seen. Most of them are rust buckets, especially around here.
It'll look good behind the 40

How does it look behind the 40? I thought the M101's were considered too large - I would be thrilled to hear otherwise!!! I have many ideas...

1. Set up your amazing barbecue system in it
2. Reinforce those bows and put a RTT up there for camping
3. Drawer system for your recovery gear and spare parts (your 40, in spite of its awesomeness, doesn't offer much storage for the essentials)
4. 3 words: Outdoor Pole Dancing!
5. Build a top, similar to Steve's, and sell the bows to recoup some of your expenses
6. LCLC custom rapid deployment Low Country Boil-a-nator!

Thanks

Yes, it is pretty clean and almost fully intact. Including the tarp, but it has a 2' tear they needs to ba addressed.

Item 4. - now, why didn't I think of that.
Item 6. - if anyone has a need for a short term rental / borrow, just let me know.

I plan to mate this to the -40 to check fitment, but I could still be looking for a M4x6 type setup specifically for the -40 if this turns out to be a bit much.

Erik, after towing my 101 home with the 80 yesterday, I would not recommend towing it with your 40. In Charleston around town, you may be alright, but you will be in 4low coming through the mountains.

I hear ya, Will. It's fine behind a V8 or F350. Besides, I haven't heard anyone else towing them (far) with a -40.

Heck, my -40 loads up on the on ramp to the Arthur Ravenel Bridge.
