Hey yall new to the forum from creeping around for the last couple years, The stars aligned and it worked out where I could get almost everything I wanted in a landcruiser.
1992, 245500 Km on the ODO
1HD-T
Automatic
Triple-Locked

Currently going to work on just making sure it's as mechanically as solid as possible and maybe some electronic stuff before I bring it back to the states in the next couple years, Once I get back to the states and have somewhere I can travel around to then start throwing some fo the more fun stuff on top of it, But the plan for right now is to keep it basically unchanged and just work on making it solid.

Currently on my short-list is to
make the passenger side vent stop squeaking
Re-Adhere the internal door seals
Get all of the manuals I need for it
Go through and learn everything I need to about the truck and make sure all maintenance is up to date (It's supposed to be but well see about that)

Yeah excited to join the club and to learn about diesels and landcruisers.

I just got back from Japan at the end of August. I miss it already. Congrats on the 81. The closer you keep it to stock, the easier it will be to import.

Welcome to the club. For your parts needs I would use a local Toyota dealer or AMAYAMA

It looks like an excellent truck and the color is nice too, something different! is it a 3 speed automatic?
