Hey Everyone.

Just picked up a 2001 LC. I figured I would post some pictures, as I know we all love them. It has 230k miles, engine/trans are perfect. So far I installed a new windshield, fixed an 02 sensor, and spent many hours cleaning/detailing it. It still is not perfect, but looks much better both inside, and out. I removed some of the wood trim, as it was fading/peeling, made a big difference.

"D" light is out, won't fix that. Antenna still works. Rocking the tape-to-aux, which is fine for now. I was reading some threads, last night, on someone who changed their factory NAV, in an 01' lx470, and may give that a go, we will see.

No build thread, while I would love to do both sets of bumpers, not sure it makes sense, cost wise, for using it as a DD. Maybe if I find a good deal, I will. I do love the look. May also go to the K02's, but tires have 30k left, so no rush.

Here is all of the service, that it had had, in the past 40k miles. I thought it would be good to include, for interest sake, to see what it costs to keep these Cruisers in tip-top shape. Granted, I think this Cruiser had it rougher than most, repair wise, but still, here it is:

Yep, that is it! I have been on MUD for several years now, this is my 3rd Cruiser. I know, the price tag of the service is extremely high. It definitely pays to be a DIY'er.

Master Cylinder, Timing Belt, all knowingly expensive, but it is the smaller stuff that was really adding up.

Agh cool, sorry man. I'm pretty new aroud here though so I'm still getting to know all the regulars.

It helped a lot with the location by you taking a picture of and posting the Nav screen...then asking "where am I" LOL:poof:

No worries, I mostly read/stalk threads, I do not post too much, so you wouldn't recognize my username.

I know, haha! Pretty stupid to show the location, then ask for guesses. Not my brightest moment.

15k in repairs & maint. In 3 1/2 yrs. Wow.

I know. I was shocked when I reviewed them all. It seems like every "major issue" that could happen, did, as well as all major PM being done.

I told the seller it would make more sense to keep it, but they just didn't need it.

I have an 01 as well... they are great trucks! love the white and tan. Truck looks really clean.

I like the 01'. I do think 03'+ is ideal, but if you are on a budget, 01' is a great choice. It is relatively clean, the pictures do make it look better, naturally. The leather is a bit faded, with some wear, no tears. I conditioned them, but would like to get them re-conditioned, just not sure how, will have to do some research. The wood trim was faded, and wearing when I got it. Removing that made it look 10x better, alone. Pain in the butt to remove, but worth it, in the end.
