Picked this old girl up at the local Yoda dealer in Orlando.. Been looking around for a bit always loved the way they look with the bigger wheels. She's got 103.5K on her, carfax says it came from Puerto Rico. I think i'm the second or third owner. Very clean inside and out, looks like it was a garaged vehicle.. No GPS though??? Don't remember ever seeing one this new without it, however that's one of the things that attracted me to it. No touch screen controls to operate the radio and AC, those make me nervous..
I'd been driving all day Saturday looking at 2 in the area that just did not look great.. One was an 05LX for 16K and the other was an 03 LC for 17K.. The LX had been repainted and had a rust hole in the tailgate under the rubber seal. The 03 LC appeared to have had the leather seats repainted and they had over sprayed into the metal railings..
So my new cruiser showed up in the autotrader with just a VIN, Year and price, no pictures Sunday morning.. I quickly went down to the Yoda dealer and asked to see it. The searched for an hour but could not find it.. Finally it turned up in the repair bay for their so called 100 point inspection (AKA Oil change)..
They said it would not be ready until Monday afternoon, said i could return to see it then if it was still available.. Lots of calls on it while i was still there. I happened to have a Pal who worked at the dealership, got the skinny on the truck returned Monday morning.. Did the paperwork and took her home...
First thing i did was slap a new pair of shoes on her.. The PO has some type street racing tire...
