I'm new to the site. Wife and I recently sold our 2001 Sequoia 2wd with 310k miles. She was the primary driver, I have a truck. We have always wanted to get a LC but price was an issue, we have 3 young kids. For the past 2 years or so we started casually shopping for a LC in our price range. We were not in a hurry because the Sequoia was a great vehicle and she loved it. Finally came across a 2009 LC that was the color she wanted (white) and close enough to purchase. It was located 2 hours away and private seller agreed to deliver! We bought it with 120k miles and it drives like new! It needed a little TLC, previous owner lived on dirt road and I think it only got washed when it rained. But it cleaned up very well. It didn't take long for my wife to forget about how much she thought she loved the Sequoia. There are pros and cons to each vehicle respectively, but the LC is far superior. We could not be any happier with our decision. I feel fortunate to have found ih8mud. There is a lot of invaluable information here. Thanks to the members here posting detailed information on how to, I have since gone through and replaced all fluids(except transmission), filters, spark plugs, wiper blades and greased propellor shafts. Had dealer service coolant and replace the Digitint on the 2 front door windows. I learned about the nav override from forum and ordered and installed the Prestigious Society. I just ordered the SL3B-T Bluetooth. I might get time to install this weekend. A couple of projects I am planning to do soon are painting the undercarriage (POR-15), painting a few trim pieces (SEM), new tires, and upgrading headlights with factory oem HID. Geaux Tigers!
