Ive got 2 40's so Ive been active on the 40-55 series thread for about 5 years now

In Oct 2011 I took delivery of my RHD FJ Cruiser -
3 years ago I drove my brother-in-law's FJ in Dubai - and I just had to have one - then the yearning for a RHD version started it was 3 long years.

I am slowly starting to get the FJ ready for some African overlanding - this is not a priority as I already have a fully overland prepared 4500 EFI 105 series

What I have got on order to date is ;-
Front bar (Road Armor) ??
120ltr long range tank from Long Ranger Aus
Full Tough Dog suspension for 50mm lift
Mickey Thompson 17inch "Sidebiter" wheels
33inch Mickey Thompson MTZ's

here it is

Nice colour! Keeping it old school...

What front bars do you have available over there?

Most of the bars available here are from Aussie - ARB, TJM, Ironman and recently Opposite Lock etc

I was looking at the one from USA the Road Armor (without the plumbing pipes - just the bar)

I also like this one from OppLock

Yep I've been sold on the opposite lock/xrox bar for a while. Vastly superior approach angle compared to an arb. And also much cheaper but still crash tested to the same standard.

Also has room to mount large driving lights

Welcome to the forum.

Be aware that Road Armor has had a dismal reputation for customer service in the past. There have been some changes in ownership over the years so possibly these problems have been laid to rest, but you would be well-advised to do some research at fjcruiserforums.com before buying one.

Insanely jealous over here...

BTW, great color choice on the new FJ x2!!

Thanks for the heads up

Opp Lock are presently in the process of setting up Franchises in South Africa, so chances are the products will become more readily available and we wont have to do individual imports.
