New to 60's & I need help.

Hi Guys,
I've had a 40 for a while but wanted more room so I bought a 60 last week.
It has been sitting for a while. From the records I found in the rig looks like its only been driven about 10K in the last 7 years. The PO said he hadn't driven or started it for about 3 mo.
The problem I'm having is the Oil Pressure gauage is reading high. White smoke is coming out under pressure from the valve cover breather. When I plug the hole with my finger it starts to come out from the bottom side of the fuel pump. It also won't idle at less than 1000 rpms.
This is what I've done so far,
Oil change, Valve adjustment, replaced PCV valve, air filter, spark plugs, replaced head gasket & intake/exhaust gaskets, replaced cap and rotor. I poured a little sea foam down the carb with no change.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

That makes sense. The smoke is in the crankcase.

First pull of the hose above the PCV valve and make sure you have a good vacuum.The white smoke is usually water or coolant getting into the cylinders. The head gasket a good one? You torque the bolts goodon the head?

I would do a compression test and see where you are. Look at the plugs good when you do it and see if one looks different from the coolant. Is the coolant level getting lower? Maybe a cracked block. Just guessing.Does the smoke start right after you start it up.
 
I replaced the Head Gasket, valve cover gasket and intake/exhaust. All with Toyota gaskets. I torqued the head bolts down following the sequence in my haynes book to 90ft/lbs. The coolant level does not drop any. The smoke really dosen't smell like coolant. No smoke from the tail pipe once it warms up. Thier is a little @ start up. I'm going to try and clean out the carbs idle system tommarow using some directions I found doing a search from FJ40Jim.
