Got the wheels back from powder coat, went with the original grey color and moved up to 33x10.5x15. I was thinking of OME 2.5" lift...any thoughts? :hmm:

Big ride improvement!

Wheels and tires look great! How's the clearance on the front part of the rear wheel well? I think a small lift would be a great idea to give you better clearance, especially in the rear from what i can see in the pics.

With 33's you'll probably get some rubbing on the front of the rear fender well. A little lift wouldn't be a bad thing. :grinpimp:

I put a 4 inch lift on my 81. I took one small leaf out of the rear so it is just a pinch lower now in the back and there is no clearance problems. I am running bfg 33-10.5 on 15 inch stock rims. The smaller lift may have worked just fine. I thought this may help for you to see the 4 inch lift. The 2-1/2 may be even better? It is all personal choice. Mark

Nice Blue Cruiser, gonna go with the OME 2.5 lift, if I went any higher I don't think the Cruiser would fit into the garage. Anyone done the install? Is this something I can do in the garage or is a lift needed? Seems straight forward, but you never know. Thanks for all the responces.

It's just springs and shocks right?
You should be able to do it with a decent set of jack stands.

You might want to upgrade the spring bolts to the greasable type. You'll know why once you try getting the old ones out. If you can stand the stench a blue wrench is the fastest way to get them out, just burn the bushings out, otherwise BFH and a drift.

I don't know if you'll need it or not with a 2.5 in lift but I'll try to dig out the brake line extension NAPA part number for you. It's basically a mini truck part.
