New tires and rims for my 60. Anybody use this combo?

Hey!

So, currently, my 60 has a 2-1/2" shackle lift. I am going to be putting on some 32/10.5/16 Mickey Thompson mud radials from Summit.

I have some black 16/8 rims that have a 5" offset. I am planning on using some 1-1/2" spacers in order to get my 3-1/2" offset back.

Has anybody used this setup? I also use this rig for Baja surf excursions, so reliability is a must.

I am basically asking if anybody is running 1-1/2" spacers and/or 5" offset rims.

I have been running 1.5" spacers with FJ Cruiser Wheels. It seems to work pretty well. If you can go with a single piece, it is prefered because maintaince is easier. But, it does the job.
