Fitted a set of Lightforce 240's today. Gave them a try tonight. All I can say is they are bloody bright

I'm jealous!

I've always wanted a pair of those, especially in HID (mega $$$$, right?).

Mot ;)

These are not the HID they are the 240 Blitz. HID would be nice but too much money to stick on the front a Bullbar

Nice, I can't wait to get a bullbar for my Cruiser and start outfitting it with lights and whatnot.

Looks great!

I had four of the 240 Blitz's mounted on a light bar on the roof and two 240 XGT's mounted where Aussie has his. I am currently running just the two XGT's on my ARB bull bar with future plans for two additional 240 Blitz's on the bar as well. These lights, IMHO, are the best lights out there. Bright, adjustable focus beam on the Blitz's, interchangable covers/filters, and made of a rustproof poly compound that is tough as nails. I could even run Infrared filters and drive with night vision goggles if I had such cool toys.

Aussie Cruiser,
If you are willing to comment I would be interested in how much you paid just to compare the cost in different markets...in our market we have to sell our products cheaper in Europe than the US (even though manufactured in the US) to compete...just curious thanks!

Man..., those restict a lot of air flow. I won't be suprized if you start seeing issues with cooling.

No problems so far. I was in traffic yesterday with them and there was no noticable difference on the temp gauge allthough the weather is cool at the moment. Will have to wait and see.

Yea i know it's winter time there right now in AUS wait 'til time summer time :flipoff2: :hillbilly:

Keep us informed about the airflow cooling issues as my IPFs need replacing and I'm looking at a set of the 240 XGTs but the size of them bothers me a bit.

I am running the same lights in the same position and have had no cooling issues. This even with the stock fan clutch on a 97 with 118,000 miles.

Thanks for the cooling info. What is the weather usually like where you are? Do FZJs run hotter or cooler generally than HZJs? I was wondering how hot the diesels would get to on a hot sunny Queensland day especially since I've got the turbo wound up.(and 326,000km).
