I went ahead and got the Trail Gear setup for $130...bought my buddy a spool of wire and a bottle of gas and 2 days later....voila! Rock Slides on my wife's '91...
Heads up, these sliders fit great and look great, but you will need about a 14" long piece of tube for the front passenger mount because of the way the 80 frame curves inward....
Also, here's a pic of what we had to do on the driver side to get around the cat...we angled the leg down at the angle we needed to right off the slider, then took a 14" long piece of 3/8" flat strap and bent the end at 10" up to the plate to mount it to the frame...
2 cans of spray on bedliner and they look fabulous...strong enough with the gusset kit to jack the vehicle up with them...
Will get more pics of them mounted up when my wife is home in the daylight...
