NEW POSTS doesn't...

When I click on the NEW POSTS - which is supposed to take you to the first new post - it takes me to the last post in the thread. Then I have to backtrack to figure out how many new posts there were since I last viewed the thread. Is this just me or are others experiencing this?

it's a FORUM mark read system, not a THREAD mark read system...read 20 threads during a visit, and if new ones are posted in thread 1 when you exit thread 20, when you return in a few hours, only those new SINCE thread 20 appear as new.

I realize that - and that's how it works on other forums. But if I haven't been on for a couple days it still takes me to the last post in a thread with new posts.

Other option is to clear all your forum related cookies and clear your cache...working fine for me, so nearly impossible to track a new issue when I can't duplicate....

Sort of figured it was a long shot, but wanted to throw it out there anyway in case anyone else had similar issues.
