The name of the place is The Cliffs Insane Terrain a.k.a. “the cliffs” located near Marseilles, IL. The park is approximately 45 minutes from the Southwest suburbs of Chicago (or Gumby’s house). The fee is $22 and 5 per passenger. The trails are supposedly different levels of difficulty, but from the sounds of it all are pretty rough. I think body damage should be expected, with rolls a possibility (So Woody should like them).

Very interesting. I'd like to check it out.

I'd be interested in making that trip! More info when available. Please.

How'd Gumby's house become a landmark? Sounds like I need to have a talk with Mrs. Gumby. ;)
Sounds good to me. I need a place close to go test out the 40. The rate it's goin' it'd be a shame to haul it all the way down to Attica to have it break in the first hour.

I just mapped it, it looks pretty close. About half way to Peoria. Sounds like a good excuse to go to Big Al's

looking forward to seeing this place. does anyone have an address for mapquest? If it is close to Todd's place, then it is close to me! How many acres? Camping?

Goebs

Yahoo maps to the nearest town, which is just west of the park. The park being on the far east side of town just in-between Marseilles and Seneca IL. I would take the I80 to the Seneca exit and follow route 6 until you pass Seneca and you see the sign (attached pic) located on the north side of route 6. There are a few campgrounds nearby one directly next to the park. I live east of Todd and it only took me under an hour to get there. I don’t think it’s close to Big Al’s but let go there anyway, everyone keeps talking about it. ::)

we need some more pics than that..............

Nice! any one know if this place would be 80 friendly?

Nah, you gotta come to Florida for that. There's 80's everywhere, driving Lincoln Towncars n s***.

hey man, whenever. Thats only like 30 min. from my house so its an easy a$$ drive straight down I-80 for me. I'm still working on trying to find an address. I should probably just call the phone # in the picture... maby I'll do that tommorow... yes, yes I will. I'm going to be out of town next weekend as I have to help paint my dad's place up in michigan, but the following weekend is open for me. How does some time around the 4th sound to you Todd? Any one else around here interested?

sweet, just out of curiosity, the naperville kids are out by then? (the 4th being a friday)
i found some info... This weekend and next weekend they are only open to quads and dirt bikes (insurance reasons or somthing like that... what the lady said), but they may be open the weekend of the 4th. We have to call in advance to see if they are. it's $22 a day per vehicle and 5$ per passenger. Safety flag is required.

The address is: 2681 E. Rt. 6 Marseilles, IL 61341 for anyone interested in mapquesting it. The lady said they had some "green trails" that wouldn't result in body damage (beginner/intermediate type stuff), but there are plenty of trails that would cause carnage for any of you crazy guys. A little over 300 acres of land.

How does the 5th (sat.) work?
