Ive been researching for awhile and finally purchased. Its in excellent condition with 220,000 miles on it. Everything works and it was recently inspected with a clean bill of health. The inspection showed that the timing belt was in like new condition and I was told that it was replaced at 175,000 miles.

I know that the suspensions on these can be troublesome. I cannot find any information on how these actually work. Yesterday, I set the suspension to high and it work properly. When I entered the lx this morning, it was back down to neutral. Is this normal after the vehicle sits or is there an issue? I do not have the owner's manual.

Anything else I should do as far as preventive maintenance? This is a great forum and excited to be a part of it.

It's normal to drop back to N from H when vehicle speed exceeds 19mph and its normal to raise to N from L above 3mph. You can download the manual, or order hard copy, from the official lexus website and it has a very informative chapter dedicated to AHC and AVS. Whilst there you can also register your VIN and pull up historical service/maintenance records entered by Lexus dealers.
If you search terms like "new owner" and "baseline" you'll get more than enough hits on what constitutes our interpretations of maintenance. I'll send you some AHC functional info via pm.
