Just wanted to post a brief intro here and thank everyone for all their help in doing my research on the 100 series Cruisers. This looks to be great site with some helpful folks and I look forward to participating as I build my rig.

I picked my new to me cruiser up last week. It's a 2000 with 43K original miles, grey interior and all records (window sticker, warranty manuals, etc.) included. It seems that all in all it's in pretty good shape all around.

My previous truck(s) are a `95 G-wagen and 2004 Tacoma 4x4 that I've listed in the classified section. Don't need either one now that I've got the "hundy". Like the Tacoma this won't stay stock too much longer but I'm still working out the list of modifications. I would like to retain the ride-quality of the cruiser while making her a bit more capable for some overland duty. I'll be adding things like:

- Bumpers (Slee looks like the choice)
- winch, tire carrier, jerry can rack
- OME lift (maybe the 1.5)
- Radio's (Ham and CB)
- OB air
- Dual battery

In process right now is:
- Leathrique treatment (now baking)
- complete interior detail
- Full service (belts, hoses, plugs, filters, DT headers, TB/injector cleaning and anything else the truck needs)
- Replacing hood struts, hatch struts, remotes, antenna

Event though these trucks look pretty much the same there are some additional pics here for those that are interested: http://azmg.smugmug.com/Other/2000-Toyota-Land-Cruiser-The/26319052_GhMxWG#!i=2192866380&k=ZLPPVDt

Welcome! hop on over to the AZ Copper State Cruisers section on the club page. Several Tucson guys on there as well!

Great find! It looks awesome, plus I think it's cleaner without a roof rack.

Thanks! Didn't know there was a CSC section, I'll check it out.

I'm pretty happy to have found it. And yeah, not sure about the RR.

Very nice! What size are the tires?

Congrats on the purchase. Low miles for the year!

43K Miles! I thought I got a great find on my 2000 with 60k Miles.....Wow and Congrats!! How much you buy it for? If you don't mind my asking...

Very nice, but you're selling the g? Now thats a car i would hold on to, i love those things

Yep, G is going. I thought it would meet my needs/wants but I've decided that the LC is the best all-around rig for what i want. The G is a `95 Euro rig that had been federalized and only has about 55K miles on it.

Thanks and I picked it up for 25K.
