This was what I was planning on running until I get the balls to mod the bull bar.

Interesting.

A new option for synth? Or just an existing option for synth?

What model winch is that?

Huge security hole at that web site. The link you posted brought up a shopping cart with tyres in it for:

Tex Trail,
Kelly D_r_y_d_e_n,

Mt. Pleasant, TX 75455, United States

ar r_o_b_l_e_s,
11011 vista ridge dr,
bakersfield, CA 93311, United States

Along with Kelly's DOB, e-mail address, and phone numbers. Maybe you should change that link.

Later... (Info edited to foil Yahoo and Google web crawlers)

Only after he kills the main link.

OK, that's messed up. That's not my information, but if it was, I would be pissed that it can get out there for all to see like that. I went back in and changed the link. Hopefully this time it is not connected to anyone's info.

Feel free to look at the rollers, but after this, I wouldn't buy from them. Who knows if you're info will be posted on a website for all to see.

decent prices on that site, but yeah, I'd be pissed too. pretty weak security standards...

With that information, it wouldn't be too hard to exploit the information for identity theft. Grab Kelly's SSN (no, I won't tell you how) and her credit is toast.

It's scary that that's all it takes anymore to really screw somebody's credit up. No, I won't be messing with Kelly's credit. I firmly believe that kind of stuff catches up to you at some point in your life.

Back to tech though, I do like the idea of the polymer rollers. My ARB bumper has a recessed area for a roller fairlead so I couldn't use a hawse fairlead with a synthetic rope. This is a nice alternative to protect the rope.

I thought the main problem with roller fairleads for rope was the design, not the material, i.e. the two pairs of opposing direction rollers would tend to pinch and wear on the rope.

If not, and the only concern is heat on the fairlead, then this would be a great alternative! Anyone have any real-world experience with these fairleads?

Thanks,

are these rollers made out of UHMW material?

If Anyone wants a set just PM me

Thanks

Not sure if this is an out and out vendor pitch but definately should be in Outfitting. If it is a vendor or for sale pitch I'll let Biff handle it from there.

Yes, I am a vendor (i have a shop)but i have never sold anything on mud. Sorry for the post in the wrong place. I was just trying to show a new option for puting rope on a 80 that dosen't require a hawse fairlead. The bumper in the photo is on my wifes 80 and i run the same rope on my 40. I do sell these but i won't have any in stock until Jan OR you can get them from the manufacturer at www.winchline.com
Again, My apologize and Merry Christmas
Neil
