Hey Folks,
My buddy that designed our current logo voluntarily decided to throw out some new ideas. The two graphics below show a couple of ideas. Don't worry about hurting anyone's feelings, just wanted to throw the idea out there. Personally, I like the current design much better than these, but it's up to the club, not me....

I like the logo we have. I had an idea to take current logo and put it in the state of nc. Has any one seen the ecu logo with the state and pirate logo? Will see If I can a pic.

my idea....

this is the ecu logo i was talking about. take the current onsc logo and place it where the pirate is. can any one make a mock up of what im thinking?

I like the first also. I agree the others kind of remind me of the rockstar drinks, but I do like the lower right hand corner version...

I also like the logo in the state idea, i might have my wife play around with it a little...

I like the idea of the first one, if one could find a way to incorporate a rig, crawling across the top or up the "e", #2 doesn't do much for me though. Thanks for their effort though...

not sure how I missed this part of Jerry's post but I love this idea

I love the 1st one. And for the record, my life long best friend (that sounds very homosexual) just spent a couple hundred grand on screen printing, embroidery, and stiching machines and stufff. He is starting a buisness, I'd love to give him these ideas and see how some cool clothing look. He has figured out that if material can hold ink, he can print on it. Its very high quality and cheap, due to the fact thay he is my buddy. Let me know.

I feel a new snuggy coming!

I also like the ECU idea, Kinda keeps the old logo around with a new twist...

Just talked to my buddy about making me a shirt to show you guys, and since its free I'm going to get a couple options, if its ok with you guys. I showed him the top one that everyone seems to like and he said he will make me a black shirt with white ONSC and a grey shirt with the black lettering... He was thinking small in front corner, like a normal shirt and then same logo bigger in the middle on the back. This is just so you all can see the quality of his work, and the logo actually on a shirt. And for me to get two free t-shirts Haha.

Let me know if this is ok, not sure why it wouldn't be, but since we haven't actually changed the logo, I'm kind of jumping the gun. He is eager to prove to me that he can make us high quality products.

should get one done in 3x...you know to see how it looks on a larger platform. lol

shirts....

yes larger plat forms look much better. eric and I (xxl) can model them. :D

I would love to see some one with talent with graphics programs insert the current logo into the state thing.

I need an XLT to try out..... being tall is a pain in the ass when trying to buy shirts.

I say if we change it the first one with a truck crawling up it

If your buddy has the computer printer style system there is no set up fees to worry about like typical screen printing. This way you could switch back and forth between several designs without that initial setup fee that is traditional in screen printing.

A friend of mine does this type of work in Key West. Also make sure he is using the process that infuses the ink in the shirt material rather than laying on top of it like traditional screen printing. This allows the area with printing to breath. Traditional screen printing that lays on top of the material does not allow it to breath. This is why some shirts with a lot of printing are so hot.

This is what he does too. It allows air to flow through the ink, I'm going over there to actually help make them at 7 tonight. Is there anyway i can meet up with someone tomorrow night to give it to them to show at URE???

Here's the thing folks... we don't HAVE to change a damn thing. This is just brainstorming. I like what I see above - obviously we want to have a hi-res refined version. I can send this over to my buddy and see what he can do with it.

Also, we could use some of the other stuff for t-shirts or other "non-official" stickers. Nobody said we can't have multiple graphics out there, and keep one "official logo".
