New motor for 96 LC

Does anyone know where I can find a 1FZ for a 96 FZJ80? I'm buying one with high mileage and it has a blown head gasket (still runs and drives, not an overheated motor). I figure it will be cheaper to purchase a lower mile engine than have the head gasket job. If anyone has an idea of cost let me know, thanks!

I'd give ACC a call as they know a lot about the HG job and can help you with the prices. They might have or know where to find another engine as well.

I sent them an email earlier tonight (morning your time). I'm stationed in Japan at the moment so its a bit difficult to call back home. BTW nice to see your in an 80 man, I remember you wheeling with us when Patrick's 62 was stock. I was the guy with the $300 FZJ80

Oh yeah I remember, back when even Patrick was taller than the Woody . Bet you've seen some pretty sweet cruisers over in Japan. Do us all a favor and bring a few back!

Oh man I've seen all types of Cruisers here! The clubs out here are very active so you will see anything from a clean 100 series to lifted 80's and 70's. I'll upload some pictures if I can find my hard drive.
