On second glance, it looks like maybe Sue's in the passenger's seat, not the driver's. WTF?

She was probably driving one of the other times she jumped it. LoL

Note to self: Don't help Sue with her next front axle job.

At least not until she checks to make sure her axle is still straight.

I'm going to go with the crowd and say HOLY S*&T Sue, Too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And Also go with Hey Sue is that you sitting shotgun?

Hey Guys,
Yes, I am guilty of EVERYTHING you guys are thinking and saying. I had driven so much the day before, that I let 2 guys who had flown in from Georgia, Atlanta to drive the rig. Tate Young was driving when the photos were taken, yes, I was in the shot gun position (flew so hard, ended up w/ bruises!) and yes, my motel on wheels litterally "flew" off as we landed. Bed is doing well no damage, but the housing and possibley the spindles may be/most likely DESTROYED!!!! SO, NEEDLESS TO SAY, NO MORE FLYING OFF THE PISMO DUNES!!!! Had a great time, loved it. Good friends, and good food!!! Apparently, there were 450 rigs registered and I was not one of them. so who knows how many actually were there. Tide came in high, so quite a lot of folks were flooded out WHILE they were ASLEEP!!! I met a single dad who had 3 kids with him, and they were one of the folks flooded out in their sleep!!!
I am looking for my new "housing" for my rig, hopefully I will find it soon, will post when I get it and see if I can get any help in putting it back together.

Ooooh bummer Sue! Let us know when your bits get in.

Worth the photo op though... :grinpimp:

sent a message on club member seeing if anyone can help this coming wkend to assist taking apart and putting back together. Will be picking up the housing on Wednesday in Bend
Sue

Sorry Sue, I'm out. Installing some new rotors and pads on the front, swapping in a Sequoia alternator and completing my dual battery setup this weekend.

Hate to be the 2n in row. but we are moving this weekend and wont be available. Maybe another weekend.

More work on my house. Trying to get everything finished by Thanksgiving....

The big air picture made me smile, and pucker up just a bit.

Thanks!

I'll be at a big society wedding this weekend. I'll think of you guys elbow deep in grease as I drink fine red wines....:D

So did a guy fly into the event, drive your truck (with your permission), jump it, and severely damage the front end? If that's even remotely how it went I hope you got some serious financial compensation for it. That's at least a days worth of work and about $1000 front axle? It took 5 guys to pry out the axle shafts on a 79' mini that my buddy bent the housing on. If you can't get the axles out, you can't get the 3rd member out, and you will need a complete front end.
