Hello all,
I am new to the forum and wanted to post a few pics of my 1999 UZJ100 and offer a brief introduction before posting a request for help.
I have had my UZJ100 for about 3 months now. It is from the States, but I purchased it here in Niger after it arrived from the port of Cotonou, Benin. It is in great condition and from what I can tell lived its entire life in Tyler, Texas. Inside the glove box I found the original window sticker showing it arrived new from Japan in California and shipped to Tyler, TX. There were also service records from Tyler dating in the early 2000s. There is a 2010 Tyler Community College sticker on the back window and it was tagged in TX in 2013. The last trace of it in the States was found by searching the VIN and finding it for sale in TX back in November 2014.
Also found in the glove box was the original owners manual and a hand written note saying "Happy 25th! Bagoodles, Mike" Just thought I would include that tidbit in case anyone was wondering if this used to be their UZJ100.
