New Meeting Place - Starting in March

For several reasons we are going to try an a new place to meet. Next months meeting will be at Big'z located on 1604 between Rodgers Ranch and Huebner. Meeting time will remain at 7:00 p.m.

I love flying saucer, but that place is packed every night of the week.

I was half kidding about the location. Being from Austin, I didn't know the SA Saucer was packed on week nights. Maybe it wasn't one of my best ideas after all.

The Saucer is a great place to hang, but hard to find places to park together and even harder to get all on one table. We would have to get there early. It does get packed.

Saucer's is no bueno for family, so I say nay. The new place seems worth a try though.

Why the change? Just curious, We seem to be moving further NW. Not sure of the demographics of where everyone lives and what would be a central location thereof and, big z's is a bit pricey. imho

I would have to agree with Kevin. I think meeting down 281 by the airport would be the best choice. I understand most active members live on the NW side but that does not make it conducive to keep membership for other's who would like to attend occasionally.

We can try closer to 281. All I know is that it needs to move from it's current location. I've been to 9 out of the last 12 meetings, all of which averaged 6 attendees . I think we were averaging around 10-12 at the Longhorn.

2 Bro's has no clientelle on Thursday evenings...not a happening place at all. They close at 8:30. Plus, I think we need to have a place that has more visible parking.

If you want to move it closer to 281, then please submit your meeting place suggestions.

If were throwing out suggestions I would say IH10 around 410 would be more central for most.

Chesters , IIRC,, has very limited parking, I'd rather not risk the gunshot or stabbing at Chacho's though I really have no Idea where to go. Is there a location on 410 near san pedro?

How about Lucky Burger on NW Military and West? IMHO, Longhorn was ideal...good spot, private room, lot's o' parking.
