Ok, will do for sure. Is the dealer the best place to get the coolant? I then mix it 50/50, and pour into the tank? Sorry if this sounds dumb, but I really have never ANY DIY, haha. Always had newer cars.
I got a new radiator cap, and gas cap. Also picked up some of the Toyota premise at the Lexus in Austin. They actually said not to use the premix, on a 99', but I insisted. Not sure their reasoning. They were out of overflow caps, didn't feel like waiting on it. Other two are good to go.
As a side note, that Lexus dealership is amazing. I could live there. It is like a mall, and I can see why there were 100 people waiting at 2pm on a Tuesday, haha.
Yea, that Lexus dealership is awesome. My wife was shopping, even found a pair of "touch screen gloves" she wanted, place is insane. I have never seen so many cars coming and going, there was a waiting line just to drop your car off, I can see why. It was a paradise, haha.
That's why in Dallas all the 100s are LXs and there are few LCs. Probably a10:1 ratio. Everyone wants the magic carpet ride experience of the Lexus dealership.
