New LX - Oil Pressure???

Just picked up a 2004 LX to add to the stable. It only has 67,000 miles on it. Thing looks brand new. It has two issues. 1 - The subwoofer is blown (no biggie). 2 - The oil pressure reads much lower at speed than our 2000 LX with 200,000 miles. Any thoughts?

Had the same issue with my 03. Replaced the Oil pressure sending unit and all fixed.

Agreed on the OCD! I am going to throw a new sending unit in it for piece of mind.

when its cold pressure will go high more than half then when warm it will go down to 1/4 mark , when u drive it will go up more than half , i have lx 2000 that engine is great its non interference

OK, y'all were correct. Mechanic checked it with a mechanical gauge and it is putting out 25 to 30 lbs at hot idle. I had him throw in a new sending unit. That didn't change the readout. He concurs the gauge is inaccurate. At least I have piece of mind. Thanks for the input.
