Hey guys, I'm going to pick up my new (to me) lift Sunday.
I havent poured the slab yet, but I want to get the measurements and go ahead and install studs in the concrete instead of drilling and and using anchors.
I should be pouring the slab in the next 2 weeks.
Then we will have 2 places for HAMOMs with lifts.
Should be up and running by mid Jan. if all goes according to plans

Yeah and the second location has sea food nearby!!!! And no forklifts in the way!!! Yeah!!!!!!:):)

did you get 315's?

Yeah, I got them from the sparks buy 3 get 1 free sale a couple of weeks ago! Great deal! The tire shop said it was already in alignment and didn't charge me but it pulls to the left a little... They said the toe was the only adjustment... I've already got the 3 degree caster bushings in. Maybe it's alright?!

On my 12 X 35's KM2's they took a while to smooth out, and no it all was not those stupid Straun Bead locks the pulling to one side or the other lessened with time and now it's a non event. Could have just taken a day or two but in my case as little as I was driving it then it took a couple of months to get the set out of the carcass and roll right. :)

Sometimes a tire can cause a pull, try switching the 2 front tires. If is a tire pull, it will either pull the other way, or not at all. Just a radial belt issue, not a problem with the tire.

If I had an extra $1500 sitting around, there is a tire machine and balancer on Craigslist now. Good price, but most balancers I've seen run 3 phase, which I dont have or know anything about.

I got my lift working today !!! I'm suppose to wait 30 days for the concrete to cure, so I will concentrate on getting the cover over it for now. I can't wait to be able to stand up and work on a car again. I have a Snap-On creeper, and it is a nice one, but....

We should schedule a hamom next month, and go out and eat some of that seafood that Doc keeps talking about.

Would April 13th work for everybody???

Yummmmmm!!!! and oh yeah :wrench::wrench::wrench: so what's not to love. Depending on work schedule I will pencil it in, your place for work and somewhere in the Charleston area for sea food on April the 13th

Building the frame to put the roof on tomorrow...hope to have the roof on tomorrow afternoon.
We'll at least have cover for the hamom

I did get the roof on today, but I didn't get any pics. Its way up there, I went up 6 feet instead the needed 5 so I can walk under it. I plan on adding to one side, this way I dont have to cut a doorway in it. But It's way up there.

Still haven't lifted a car, but I've raised and lowered it several times.
