Hey all, As per the title, I recently lifted my 2004 GX470, and in addition to the ABS, VSC lights coming on the speedo died on me. Any thoughts on what it might be? Is there a way for me to check continuity on the wheel speed sensors to see if I stretched one of them? Would one bad wheel sensor wire cause the speedo to read 0? I accidentally only pulled one of the fuses after the lift, could that have blown a different fuse on the speedo for some reason?

thanks all

You need to plug in Techstream to see what codes there are, and what signals are/aren't working.

Most likely you pinched or stretched an ABS sensor wire and the system is freaking out.

Stretched ABS wire is very common when doing lift.
You can get the code without techstream by connecting TC abs CG terminal of the OBDII connector.

Thanks guys this is just what I need to do I think. Can someone clarify this a little bit though?

"connecting TC abs CG terminal of the OBDII connector."

Am I using an OBD scanner to do this?

no obd scanner is used. You can use a paper clip to connect the two ports.

Not sure about your speedometer , but the abs/vsc lights come on sometimes when you lift these. Not common but it does happen. Hop on youtube and search for ''toyota zero point calibration reset'' and that should clear the lights.

Thanks Tanner, I will will do that to get rid of the dash lights. Main concern is the lack of Speedometer, so I am also going to try checking resistance of the sensor wires where possible to check for an open.
