Hi, I'm new to the LC addiction, I just bought a 1997 Collectors edition in great shape (factory lockers, OME suspension and well maintained) I'm hoping to stop by at the fall gathering and I'm scheduled to have North Country Land Cruisers do a semi-baseline and check over on my truck in November, is there anyone else in the seacoast area? I'm in Dover, NH.

Welcome to Yankee Toys.

Welcome! Good choice having Kina work on your rig. Does good work, fair prices and an all around great guy!
And I think we need some more pics of your rig!

Should I change out the charcoal canister? And what would be the best product and method for cleaning the old grease and oil off the engine so I can be aware of any leaks? The roof rack is gone now, and I'm going to have Kina look at the plugged holes to see the best way to seal/weld them.

not unless you smell gas. The factory unit is no longer available. Just pointing it out to you. Also if the brake fluid is low it's usually do to pad wear and if it's low enough to turn on the brake light you probably need to replace a set of pads. So have Kina check that out also.

Thanks! I think you were recommended to me as someone to ask questions to by the prior owner, Alex Boisvert

You probably need brakes.

Landtank- Do you happen to remember all the work you did to this truck? I'm trying to get a good picture in my head of the overall condition of it, and what needs to be done in the future, I'm sure Kina can help with that too. Alex B has been very helpful with giving me info about it and just last week gave me a perfect copy of the factory workshop manual.

OK

Landtank, Texted Alex yesterday, he said he would get in touch with you.
